Ingredion is looking for a Senior Application Tech for the Beverage segment based in Hamburg

This will involves leading technical projects in the beverage category, develop new solutions & concepts for EMEA region, lead the technical roadmap development and transfer knowledge to the GTM team in EMEA. Be the connection between region and global for the dedicated category and collaborate with the ingredient development managers as a SME in the respective category.

This role reports to the Manager, Applications & Innovation Ecosystem T&HS EMEA

**What you will do**:

- ** Role with Hands-On-Activities**: Spend significant hands-on time (30- 50%) in our iLTC labs and pilot plant (or externally) to run own trials and measurements in support of projects
- ** Co-owns Product Launches & Competitor Benchmarking**: Together with the Ingredient Development Managers, Category Marketing Leads and global Application team, create and deliver new Customer Solution Technical Launch Packs, including food concepts and hands-on training, and leverage early customer feedback (post-launch support)
- ** System Opportunities**: Work closely with the Systems Team to identify new potential building blocks combining our single ingredient portfolios to develop customer solutions.

**What you will bring**:

- Degree in Food Science or Chemistry (BSc or MSc) and minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the beverage (ingredient) industry
- Excellent formulator with a good understanding of ingredient interactions
- Good presentation and communication skills to enable efficient knowledge transfer with experience in cross-functional, international teams.
