Senior Product Marketing Specialist

This position on the marketing team EMEA is responsible for coordinating Abiomed’s product communication and product launches with the focus (but not exclusively) on the surgery product portfolio. **Responsibilities**: - Strategically manage all aspects of internal and external product communication - Assess gaps and needs in product marketing materials and make recommendations for enhancements, working closely with the global marketing and digital communication team - Adjust global marketing material (language and regulatory requirements) and communication plans to local needs and coordinate roll out - Create new material (focus on new products or product changes) and ensure clear marketing messaging and value propositions for internal and external communication - Lead product launch planning, launch communication and develop campaigns to support product launches and changes - Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders in product launch planning incl. regulatory, reimbursement and training to ensure flawless product launches - Manage external PR agencies and develop communication plan; Maximize impact from Pub plan and clinical studies incl. special prints and advertorials - Partner with external agencies as needed for digital development and advertising **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree highly preferred - 4-7 years of demonstrated experience in marketing role - Demonstrated proficiency with project planning and budgeting - Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work are essential. - Experience utilizing data to define digital strategy - A passion for helping others and a desire to help improve outcomes for heart attack patients - Knowledge of HTML and content management systems preferred **Preferred**: - Experience in medical device, biopharma, healthcare or another regulated field is preferred. - User experience and content strategy understanding is a plus. **We offer**: - Pleasant, open corporate culture with a strong mission: "Recovering Hearts, Saving Lives" - Comprehensive induction program with structured onboarding plan throughout the orientation phase - Company pension allowance of up to 1,500 euros per year and capital-forming benefits - Benefit packages for occupational disability insurance and company group accident insurance - Full cost coverage for a job ticket in the Aachen or Berlin area - Various health programs and a leasing option for a job bike ABIOMED is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
