As our Accounting Lead, you will have the chance to join our company just after moving into new international markets and growing our business significantly. You will strongly professionalize our finance organization and collaborate with the management team.

Tasks

**You will have an impact on**:

- Lead all our accounting efforts and further develop the accounting and controls set-up to facilitate our international expansion into 5+ European countries
- This involves our monthly books close, annual financial statements, consolidation across multiple entities, as well as internal and external reporting preparation
- Further ownership of banking/treasury, accounts payable/receivable, and tax areas
- Close collaboration with our external tax offices, likely taking the accounting in-house and implementing an ERP solution in the next 6-12 months
- Hire, train, and manage a capable and efficient accounting team across all our markets
- Act as the internal POC for all financial questions as well as contribute to cross-functional projects

**Requirements**:
**What you will add**:

- Demonstrated experience in successfully building up and leading the Accounting function, ideally in a high-growth startup environment
- 5-8y+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit/assurance, management consulting or similar
- Strong understanding of German HGB accounting as well as IFRS
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic professional environment
- A structured, results-oriented, and self-driven way of approaching tasks
- Fluency in English and German
