Section Head Research

For our Research & Development Department we require a

**Section Head Research & Development**:
The focus of your activity is developing specialty construction chemicals and product support for our headquarters in Witten and for our global group companies. As section head research & development you report directly to the head of research & development.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Development in the field of sustainability (new technologies), recycling of construction materials
- Invention of inorganic and organic binder systems
- Expansion and optimisation of construction materials
- Quality assessment of raw materials and quality assurance
- Patent system
- Leading of a team with several members
- Coordination of foreign operations

**Essential qualifications**:

- Degree in chemistry, or similar
- Experience in the field of construction materials
- Open for innovativ and creativ ideas and technologies
- Excellent german and english skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
- Quick comprehension and good communication skills with a proven ability to manage teams and prioritise effectively
