**Job Title: Warehouse Laborer**

Job Summary: Provide labor force for loading and offloading vehicles, assisting with furnishing of Embassy offices and residences, office moves, packing, assembling/disassembling, event setups, and disposals. Work may involve handling heavy, high-value, and fragile items under close on-site supervision.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload vehicles at the Embassy warehouse and other locations in Berlin, Leipzig, and Hamburg
- Assist with office moves, including carrying furniture and appliances on stairwells
- Pack and unpack items for moves and events
- Assemble and disassemble furniture and equipment
- Set up and break down event spaces and furnishings
- Dispose of unwanted items and materials
- Hand-carry furniture, appliances, and other items as directed
- Work under the supervision of the Embassy Warehouse Supervisor or assigned Property Section staff

**Requirements**:

- Able to lift up to 50 kg and hand-carry up to 30 kg
- Good oral communication skills in German and/or English
- Valid identification card to be presented when arriving for work
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Comply with applicable OSHA and EPA regulations, as well as Embassy safety standards
- Undergo security clearance process, which may take up to six weeks

**Work Schedule**:

- Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Flexible schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

**Location**:

- Primary work location: U.S. Embassy Warehouse, Curtiusstrasse 64, 12205 Berlin
- Other work locations: Embassy offices and residences in Berlin, Leipzig, and Hamburg

**Experience**:
