Workshop Lead

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Your mission**: As **Workshop Lead**, you’ll shape the backbone of our shopfloor operations. You ensure smooth daily workflows by creating clear structures, clean standards, and a smart system toolkit for the teams. You lead by example, work hands-on, and hold both production and development teams equally accountable.**Design the workshop setup**:You define the layout and structure of the shopfloor - including labelling systems, workstation concepts, and safety briefings.**Build systems & standards**:You develop clear routines for workshop organization, tool and resource management - from grinding paper to lifting gear.**Ensure safety & cleanliness**:You make sure safety rules are followed and every workstation is always “visitor-ready.”**Guide & support**:You onboard colleagues to machines, offer practical tips, and ensure equipment is used correctly and responsibly.**Manage space & tools**:You coordinate storage and assembly zones and help adapt workstations based on team needs.**Act as a key interface**:You bring in your expertise, gather input from team leads, and implement standards together - hierarchy-free and hands-on.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- ** Technical background**: Training in a workshop-related field such as metalworking, mechanics, or electrical - e.g. fitter, technician, electrician.
- ** Practical experience**: You know your way around shopfloor operations and understand what works in day-to-day manufacturing.
- ** Confident presence**: You speak up when needed, take responsibility, and bring natural authority to the role.
- ** Hands-on mindset**: You think in solutions, act pragmatically, and enjoy making things better.
- ** Structured & active**: You create order without red tape - and don’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves.
- ** Languages**: You speak excellent German and English - and use both confidently in a workshop setting.
