The Assistant Professorship serves to deepen the collaboration between the University and the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). The IWH is one of the seven economic research institutes of the Leibniz Association in Germany
In legal terms, there will be an individual selection process carried out for the position hereby announced. The position is a fixed-term civil servant contract (Beamtenverhältnis auf Zeit) under public law. The initial term is three years, with a three-year extension following a successful interim evaluation.
