(Sr.) Director, Business Operations

The Business Operations division is a new function within Camunda's Finance department and is tasked with delivering efficient, value-add IT, procurement and finance systems support companywide. We are looking for a hands-on, business - and service-minded manager to lead this business operations division, overseeing the 3 teams of IT, procurement and finance systems.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Oversee the IT, procurement and finance systems functions, reporting to the CFO
- Prioritize service orientation and strive for high customer satisfaction for the IT, procurement and finance system services
- Develop, implement and optimize processes and systems for scale to lead the functions through Camunda's growth
- Build the finance systems function to support administration and integration of Finance department tools, incl. company-wide tools such as Netsuite (ERP), travel, expense and payroll tools
- Liaise with other operational teams within Camunda (e.g. legal ops, people ops, revenue ops) to build system integrations and automate interdepartmental workflows
- Own business insurance holistically for Camunda and manage the portfolio of global business insurance policies
- Translate department and company goals into OKRs, projects, goals and action plans, and collaborate with various stakeholders on achieving them.
- Communicate effectively across the company (written and verbal)
- Extensive written documentation of process, policies and day-to-day business

**What You Bring**:

- Demonstrated success building, developing, and leading global, remote teams
- Experience with one or (ideally) several of: procurement, IT, systems, business services, finance operations support in a high-growth technology company
- Proven achievement in scaling and optimizing operations functions
- Excellent communication and people management skills in a remote-first environment.
- Well-versed in project and change management
- Data-driven, analytical and business-minded problem-solving skills
- Solid technical ability and understanding in order to collaborate with technical functions of IT and Finance Systems
- Fluent Professional level English mandatory
- MBA preferred
