**Summary**:
Develops and fosters relationships with key decision-makers at major biotechnology and pharma companies to secure business opportunities for the Company in Germany. Works closely with senior leaders in the Syneos Health organization to advance opportunities and strategic discussions with designated customers.

**Essential Functions**:

- Analyzes industry activity and designated customer changing strategies, develops annual account plan(s) for assigned accounts. Participates with senior leaders in the development and implementation of the sales plan. Reviews annual account plan(s) on a quarterly basis to determine where adjustments may be required.
- Drives conversations both internally and with the customer in an effort to develop solutions that deliver strategic value for the designated customers. Active participant and contributor in internal and customer governance forums.
- Maintains current professional level of knowledge of Syneos Health services and products to serve as a basis for providing “value added” expanded Company services to all appropriate clients.
- Participates in weekly updates to management and the Business Development team of new activities in the assigned territory, with urgent and important issues being shared with management as they arise.
- Actively participates at professional meetings and conventions as appropriate.

**Qualifications**

**What we’re looking for**:

- BA/BS degree in a science related field
- **Experience in business development and clinical research is essential**:

- Experience and proven track record in **selling full service, functional as well as end-to-end solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies**.
- Passionate about offering value-add solutions for the customer and able to do so by collaborating effectively across service lines and all levels of the organisation. Able to build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated with excellent business and financial acumen. Focused on driving the new business while maintaining a team-oriented approach and fostering a healthy business environment.
- **Full professional proficiency in German**:

- Must have a valid, current driver’s license and ability to secure corporate credit card.
