**What you'll do**

Are you looking for a sales-related function with directly addressing the customer’ decision-makers?
Do you want to assume responsibility in the sales process and be part of a highly professional ERP demand generation team with much management visibility?

This “demand generation department” offers students the chance to get direct insights into a strategically important SAP sales unit. The students will get direct customer contact and will perform high-value, responsible sales tasks.

Initially, the students will be provided with the relevant product knowledge about “RISE with SAP” and “SAP S/4HANA”.
In the course of trainings and self-assessments, the students will get enough time to get familiar with the product content and to check their know-how.
The students will primarily support a direct telephone campaign and undertake social selling tasks.
As part of the direct customer approach, the students will be in close contact with the customers’ decision-makers (often CIO or CFO) and try to convince this target group of a timely follow-up appointment.
Due to the fact that “RISE with SAP” is a new product bundle innovation, it will be appreciated to design and create new sales material (like videos, podcasts etc.).

Your diverse tasks will include in detail:

- Learning about SAP products (Enterprise Resource Planning) and customer target groups
- Execution of proactive digital and telephone campaigns to generate interest for SAP S/4HANA
- Supporting and advertising customer events to create more valid sales opportunities
- Generating product expertise to generate customer interest as a digital influencer

This is a unique opportunity to become a fundamental pillar of the SAP Midmarket Sales and work closely together with our Digital Demand Executives to gain a decisive sales expertise.

**What you bring**
- Languages: depending on the job location, fluent English skills are a must
- Interests and affinity for IT solutions
- Analytical skills and the ability to grasp and work with complex concepts
- Basic knowledge of ERP software and sales skills are a plus
- Being familiar with social media platforms (for example XING and LinkedIn to generate leads)
- Willingness to give presentations in front of customers
- Experience with MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good communication, networking skills and character of a team player
- Creativity, motivation as well as ability to work in a structured and independent manner
- Responsibility and ability to drive topics open-mindedly and focused on the end-result

Work experience: No work-related experience is required. Beneficial are former sales activities or interacting tasks with people (convincing people).

**Meet your team**

SAP launched with “RISE with SAP” a new promising strategic product bundle to accelerate the customers’ journey towards the “Intelligent Enterprise”.
In this context, we are looking for ambitious and hungry working students, who would like to become part of this exiting market introduction.
The team will be the sales-related bridge between marketing and the final sales.

The Sales Demand Executive Organization (SDE Team) is a core function of the MEE Digital Hub, which strives for a higher sales pipeline with a simultaneous increase of the opportunity quality. The team is a key part of the midmarket sales organization and is responsible for serving small and midsize companies. The department is working cross-regional with activities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Central & Eastern Europe countries. In the course of outbound (“push”) and inbound (“pull”) activities, the SDEs concretize the customers’ software demand and are in direct contact with the relevant decision makers. Consequently, this department is a very important part of the cloud ERP sales process.

The students will be in direct contact with the c-level on customer side (CIOs, CFOs, etc.) to fulfill the goal of creating additional sales opportunities.
