Port Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a Port Operations Coordinator (M/F/d) who will handle the following:

- coordinate load lists with terminals, partners, vessel planners and other stakeholders
- provide special cargo manifests e. g. DG and reefer, etc. after sorting out errors REE/OOG/DG
- handle special issues e. g. re-stow, claims, etc.
- verify DG documentation
- provide guidance to internal & external stake holders
- verify and approve vendor invoicing
- advise internal stakeholders of costs to be recovered
- establish and maintain various cut-off times
- assist internal stakeholders to obtain missing data e. g. VGM, container numbers, lashing certificates and DGD’s
- update oracle Port ops system with all relevant details
- updating schedule

The main purpose of this role is to ensure an efficient, service-oriented handling of the loading/unloading of the vessels in the POL. Act as focal point for all queries coming from external and internal stakeholders. Handle all hazmat cargo according to company and legal guidelines (IMDG code).

**Requirements**:

- Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably in Shipping or Forwarding
- Professional behavior, social competence, team player
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Willing to go the extra mile for the customer
- Fluent German and English Language skills are required
- Available by mobile phone after office hours should not be a problem (24/7 mentality)
