Mgr I Supply Chain

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

**Responsibilities**:
**Planning & Purchasing Management**
- Create, develop and own the master schedule for the site.
- Analyze material supply requirements and plant capacity data to determine the capability to achieve desired objectives.
- Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials. Coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
- Analyze Pull System and MRP reports, using data to drive decisions.
- Establish and execute inventory plan to meet business objectives.
- Plan and implement activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials, including overseeing the annual stock take and annual re-cost process.
- Responsible for meeting annual material productivity (cost down) targets.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in identifying, resolving and finding root cause of planning issues using appropriate problem-solving techniques.
- Represent the planning and execution team at tier meetings and other functional meetings.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production and customer service to communicate the deliveries schedules to the customer based on material and production availability and established priorities and sales objectives.

**Team Management**
- Manage and Develop the team, Assist in planning and understanding capacity constraints, planning strategies and demand fluctuations.
- Coordinate supply chain elements to achieve on-time delivery of finished products and materials while satisfying inventory turns and target levels.
- Manage and lead the Warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely storage of materials.

**SIOP Process.**
- Develop, grow, and improve the SIOP process.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to drive forecast visibility and improved site demand visibility to the operations team.
- Manage and Develop inventory metrics for SIOP. Prepare metrics and deliver guidance on gaps and opportunities to meet customer requirements.

**What your background should look like**:

- Bachelors degree in related supply chain field.
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain leadership experience.
- Experience SI&OP, Purchasing and Master Scheduling Process.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in supply chain management role.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and knowledge of SAP ERP/MRP system is Required (SAP Hana S4 would be a plus).
- Familiarity with Supply Chain & Inventory Control concepts and terminology.
- APICS - CPIM certification and Green/Black Belt certification(a plus).
- Strong management experience motivating and developing teams.
- Fluent German and English Required.
