Head of Financial Accounting Dach

The position is based at our Nieder-Olm site or alternatively at our Troisdorf Nieder-Olm site and reports to the VP Finance of our Swedish parent company.

**What awaits you**:

- Coordination and preparation of monthly, annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS as well as reporting and advance VAT returns (from process support to annual financial statements including preparation and follow-up)
- Technical and disciplinary management of the financial accounting department (4 employees)
- Responsible in the DACH organization for all group relevant topics
- Technical and disciplinary management of the financial accounting department (4 employees)
- Contact person for tax advisors and tax auditors as well as ensuring VAT reporting and other notifications
- Ongoing maintenance, further development and optimization of processes in financial accounting
- Accompaniment of audits and company audits as well as support of the compliance of internal processes
- Independent implementation of projects, e.g. further development of the reporting system

**What you bring**:

- Several years of professional experience in financial or balance sheet accounting, e.g. as team leader accounting, head of accounting, accounting manager balance sheet accountant or senior account / financial accountant (M/F/d) preferably with at least first management experience
- Completed business studies or commercial training with further training as a balance sheet accountant
- Several years of experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
- Very good knowledge of English and fluent German
- Good analytical skills and a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting
- Outgoing personality with a strong hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication and teamwork skills
