RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (M/F/d) _

We are looking for support in our **Vaccine and Cellular Immunotherapy**unit to start as soon as possible. The

immunotherapies.

Our research interests includes the characterization of tumuor-infiltrating immune cell as well as tumor cells

during therapy, involving cancer mRNA vaccines and other cancer therapies Our multidisciplinary team is

responsible for a large variety of different projects within TRON and with external collaborators.

Methodologically, we primarily search for an expert in flow cytometry to characterize cancer and immune cells

within the tumor microenvironment with additional extensive in vitro analysis such as examinations of the cell

cytotoxicity activity.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Designing and testing of flow cytometry antibody panels for phenotyping immune cells
- Planning, conducting and analyzing co-culture cytotoxicity and immunological in vitro assays based on

multicolor and spectral flow cytometry.
- Planning, conducting and analyze pre-clincal experiments in the field of cancer immunotherapy (u.a.

ELISpot, T cell killing assays)
- Establishment and standardization of new methods
- Writing standard operating procedures (DE & EN), preparation of experimental reports
- Pro-active contribution to tasks in the field of general laboratory organization

**What you bring**:

- A completed master degree in life sciences or training as technician or several years of experience as

technical assistant in the field of immunology or cell biology (or equivalent)
- Experience in performing in vitro assays based on multicolor flow cytometry techniques of co-culture cells,

primary tissues and in vitro immunological methods (e.g. Intracellular Cytokine staining ADCP, ADCC,

ELISpot, etc.) are requeste. Experince in spectral flow cytometry is a plus.
- Any practical experience in conducting in vitro experiments using cell culture and primary cells isolated

from organs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English language
- Well-structured and organized working methods, reporting and excellent time management
