Head of Group Tax Compliance

The main purpose of the role is to ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee key aspects of payroll processes, ensuring efficiency and transparency (e.g., accuracy, timeliness, compliance). Reporting to the VP of Financial Operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Tax Compliance**
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and payments.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations in Germany.

**Payroll Oversight**
- Oversee key aspects of payroll processes managed by the Talent department.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll reporting.

**Customer Interaction & Support**
- Liaise with executive management, board members, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide proactive support and problem resolution.

**KPIs**
- Accuracy and timeliness of tax filings and payroll processing.
- Compliance with tax regulations.
- Proactive vs. reactive problem identification and resolution.
- Customer satisfaction.

**Capabilities**
- Extensive experience in tax compliance and payroll management (15 years).
- Strong leadership, communication, and integrative skills.
- Proactive and customer-centric approach.
- Ability to balance strategic and detailed orientations, problem structuring, and solving.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Fluent in English and German; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Physical presence required at our headquarters in Ottobrunn, with the possibility of remote work one day per week.
