Internship Controlling

TT-Line is one of the leading ferry companies in the Baltic Sea, which uses modern ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Sweden. TT-Line transports 900,000 passengers and 500,000 freight units annually on its 4 routes, making it the market leader in the traffic to Sweden. TT-Line currently employs around 900 people on board and in the land offices in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Świnoujście / Szczecin, Karlshamn and Klaipeda.

We are looking for our team in Lübeck-Travemünde an **Intern in Controlling (M/F/d)**

As part of our Controlling team, you will support the continuous improvement of our processes, ensure regular monitoring of key performance indicators and be part of the planning process. Furthermore, you will optimize existing controlling workflows, analyze financial performance, explain variances, coordinate the planning process of our international operations and improve our BI tools.

**The start date is as soon as possible and ideally you would stay with us for 6 months.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Participation in the central Controlling department, for the main areas of monthly management reporting, controlling process optimization, planning and projections.
- Project support in Controlling and Financial Accounting, e.g. Reporting, group consolidation, BI-Software integration and improvement of accounting procedures
- Contribution to the improvement of controlling procedures

**Your qualifications**:

- Enrolled in a degree with analytical focus (business / data analytics & data science / mathematics / computational sciences) with interest in finance
- Students with experience in data / business / financial analytics are welcome to apply
- Good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with accounting and finance
- Structured and analytical thinking
- Committed, team-oriented and reliable
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Willingness to work onsite
