**YOUR FUTURE ROLE**
- Engage in external data sovereignty initiatives like Catena-X and Gaia-X and derive specific requirements into technical and solution architecture taking current market and technical trends of Crypto & Web3 into consideration
- Drive an aligned and consistent architecture strategy and specific target architectures and the execution of that strategy for SAP BTP in close collaboration with New Ventures and Technologies (NVT)
- Support the evaluation of architecture risks and estimations of effort for business cases, prepare senior management decisions, advise senior management and chief product owners regarding technical feasibility and architectural implications
- Organize collaborative architecture work across organizations
- Deliver specific Architecture Concept Documents (ACDs) and advise other architects and key experts
- Review selected ACDs and design documents and drive architecture design in the area of data management, data integration, and hyper scaler service usage
- Initiate and guide complex cross-functional technology initiatives and act in the role of Lead Architect (f/m/d) for strategic customer engagements
- Develop perspectives on the impact of new technological trends and developments and derive strategies incorporating those findings into SAP’s BTP Strategy
- Keep up-to-date on upcoming architecture trends and communicate trade-offs between various architecture technologies and design patterns.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Latest knowledge and concrete practical experience in tokenomics; including token-based incentive structures, token-based revenue streams, network effect evaluation, token classification, protocol-owned liquidity, stable coins (algorithmic/backed), etc.
- Broad experience in implementing data management and integration architectures using SAP portfolio as pertaining to the SAP (BTP) North Star Architecture
- Solid understanding of SAP Technology and Solution Portfolio and hyper scaler platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) as well as cloud-native qualities
- Well-connected within SAP and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels within the company and externally and to establish cross-organizational alignment without yielding formal authority
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, world-class analytical and problem-solving skills, execution focus, and team player
- Fluent English language skills oral and written and local languages
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and cultural skills, and experience to prepare for and present to top-level executives
- Adapt with a high degree of flexibility to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- 10+ years of experience as a developer, technical architect, ideally in customer-facing functions like consulting, custom development, etc.
- A highly motivated, innovative individual with a “can-do” and start-up attitude and ready to take over further responsibility

**ABOUT THE TEAM**

The Cross-Architecture unit in T&I drives the CTO function, a harmonized Cross-Product Architecture definition and guidance, BTP product strategy, management, user experience as well as strategic projects to accelerate adoption and market success. As we are now approaching the new age of resilient Business Networks with a fast transition of value chains from enterprise-centric to collaborative network-centric models we need to ensure the Readiness of SAP Cloud Technology, Applications, Business
- as well as Delivery models.

The Industry Cloud Development team in T&I will specifically look after the BTP Readiness for such Business Models as well as support a strategic project like CATENA-X and GAIA-X. From the requirement of these specific projects and other internal and external initiatives and market trends, we will derive generic requirements for SAP BTP in close alignment with the relevant stakeholder. The major topics are Sovereign and decentralized Cloud Infrastructure, Federated Data Networks using industry-specific standards (like InternationaDataSpaces.org), Data Security, Digital Identity as well as AI embedded Semantic Web and human-machine collaboration in real-time.
