Food Quality Technologist

We are looking for a detail oriented and hands-on Food Quality Technologist (f/m/x) to join our operations team at Formo. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our entire supply chain, ultimately contributing to the successful commercial launch of our innovative animal-free products.
**Responsibilities**
- Supports regulatory market compliance throughout the supply chain to deliver successful product launches
- Coordinates and delivers supplier approval programs for their region
- Works cross-functionally with Formo Food Science, Product Development, Procurement and Co-Manufacturing teams on finished product launches and improvement projects
- Completes complaint investigation and resolution with a consumer-centric and data-driven approach
- Ensure the correct maintenance of food safety standards, including product temperature, positive release, and traceability processes
- Supports the ongoing maintenance of crisis management processes and systems
- Collaborate with the product team to define finished product specifications and technical requirements
- Supports the development of food safety and quality procedures and training that will support the eventual IFS Broker Certification of Formo
- Proven experience within Food Manufacturing/Assembly/Distribution/Retail
- Supplier onboarding and Management experience
- Knowledge of government regulations (wider Europe ideal but not mandatory)
- Working knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with good project management
- Analytical and customer-oriented mindset with outstanding communication skills
- Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
- Embraces change, challenge and working in an autonomous way
- Fluent in German (C1+) and English (C2)
