We are seeking a talented Sr. DevOps to join our dynamic team in Berlin.

Your tasks
- Collaborate with developers to integrate unit/integration tests, code quality checks (e.g., SonarQube), and security scanning into pipelines.

Author and maintain Terraform (or CDK) modules for provisioning AWS resources (VPCs, EC2/EKS, RDS/DocumentDB, S3 buckets, IAM policies, NLBs, etc.).
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS), configure internal/external load balancers, and optimize resource allocation.
- Implement secret management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault) and ensure secure handling of credentials/configurations.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using AWS CloudWatch (logs, metrics, and alarms), Prometheus & Grafana, or ELK Stack, Fluentd/Fluent Bit.
- Automate vulnerability scans (e.g., container scanning, OS patching), ensure IAM least privilege, and perform periodic security audits.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.

**Requirements**:

- 5 + years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering role.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions).
- Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or CDK
- Strong AWS experience: VPC, EC2/EKS, RDS/DocumentDB, NLB/ALB, CloudWatch, Serverless stack.
- Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation tasks.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Amazon Linux).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals: subnets, routing tables, security groups, NACLs, load balancing.
- Knowledge on Monitoring/logging tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or equivalent
- Experience with AWS Security Hub, DORA compliance, or penetration testing tools.
- Secret Management: Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or similar.

- Security & Compliance: Experience with AWS Security Hub, CIS compliance, or penetration testing tools.
- Secret Management: Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or similar.
- Automation Frameworks: Experience writing Ansible playbooks or Chef/Puppet manifests.

**Cloud Certifications**: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
