**Company Description**
As an automotive supplier, DENSO is leading in developing and providing components and systems for heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.
Automated driving functions are evolving and becoming more sophisticated. New driving functions must be compliant with customer expectations, as well as regulatory frameworks for road safety. Releasing such functions therefore requires novel testing and verification methodologies.
In this position you will help develop test scenarios based on the concept of Operational Design Domain. This includes tasks like: defining the capabilities of the driving function, searching a database for relevant scenarios, and generating new scenarios to improve the testing campaigns. Your main responsibility will be to help automate some of the steps in this process and to create metrics that track the progress of the map & scenario database.
**Qualifications**
- Pursuing a B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming skills are required in Python, XML.
- Advanced skills with Excel are a plus.
- Familiarity with OpenSCENARIO and/or OpenDRIVE is a plus.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology, testing methodologies is a plus.
- Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
- Team player with intercultural competencies as well as independent working style with good self-organization capabilities.
