Deck13 Interactive GmbH, founded in 2001, is one of the leading game developers in Germany in the heart of Frankfurt. Since 2020, we are the spearhead of Focus Entertainment's first-party development studios and in 2021 we ventured into the Canadian market by establishing our Deck 13 Montreal studio.
We have over 85 talented employees from more than 15 nations developing world class action RPG games. These include major releases such as Lords of the Fallen and The Surge and our soon to be released Atlas Fallen which have also helped us make a name for ourselves in the international market.
To continue our success story, we are now looking for you to join our team as our new Tools Programmer (M/F/d).
**Responsibilities**:
- Become part of the tech team working on our in-house game engine
- Enhance and maintain our game editor FledgEd
- Work closely with artists and designers to improve and optimize their workflows
- Create tools complementing our in-house game engine
- Maintain and improve our existing build process and CIS
- Create, test and deploy builds
- Identify and solve problems in the build
**Requirements**:
- You have professional tool programming experience
- Preferably strong knowledge in C++, Qt, Python, Git, SVN, TeamCity
- Keen on writing simple, data oriented code that is easy to read, easy to debug, easy to maintain and easy to optimize
- You are able to rapidly change direction when priorities shift, staying focused on the most relevant project and evolving to get it done
- As a a problem solver you see each new problem as an opportunity for success and work toward prioritizing and breaking down the steps to solutions
- You are a brilliant team player, working well with others towards a common goal
