Network Administrator

Our client is looking for a Network Administrator to join their team based in Hilden.

The role is Hybrid and requires minimum B2 level of German. You must be eligible to work in Germany and already based in Germany.

What will your tasks be?
- Installation, configuration and operation of Microsoft server environments
- Installation, configuration and operation of virtualization solutions and clusters
- Installation, configuration and operation of network structures
- Creation and maintenance of system documentation and operating manuals
- System maintenance and support of customer systems 2nd level
- System maintenance and support of complex internal systems in our own data center
- Error analysis and troubleshooting

What should you bring with you?
- Completed training as an IT specialist or studies in the IT field
- Professional experience in network technologies (switching, routing, WLAN, LAN, WAN, network management, firewall)
- Experience or basic knowledge in the Linux / Unix environment desirable
- First experiences in dealing with databases
- Knowledge of virtual servers and storage environments
- Professional experience with workplace environments including user support
- Cisco certificates in routing / switching are advantageous, as well as other expertise if necessary (e.g. Microsoft MCITP / MCSA / MCSE, VMware, Citrix, Commvault, HP, Aruba, Lancom, Watchguard)

Pay: 50.000,00€ - 65.000,00€ per year
