- WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
The Vertical Growth Leader is a dynamic, highly-visible and influential position with outstanding growth potential. You will closely partner and collaborate with dedicated marketing and communications experts, product management, engineering, and sales to grow our presence in the exciting power data centers space. This role is ideal for an energetic individual with a deep knowledge of the target industries and a strong desire to serve our customers and win, both professionally and personally.
In this position, you will get to:
- Act as the nVent expert and thought leader in Data Centers and build and execute short
- and long-term strategies for growth and sustained vertical penetration within the EMEA markets
- Represent the company as our voice of expertise for the target industries
- Define our best opportunities to win in the Data Centers vertical
- Identify and advocate for new products, services, partnerships and business development opportunities
- Own the sales funnel and deliver above-market sales and profitable growth
- Drive our value proposition so it fully resonates with external influencers and decision-makers and establishes us as the preferred solution partner
- Excite, influence, and train the organization on how to sell our value to customers in the Data Centers value chain
- YOU HAVE:
- Academic background in engineering or similar technical fields
- Minimum 10+ years of customer-facing experience, in either sales or marketing type roles
- Demonstrated ability and experience to independently develop and lead a go-to-market strategy for the Data Centers Telecom vertical
- Proven skills to cultivate long-term, sustainable, value-based relationships with key contacts and professional industry associations and groups
- Expertise in selling, communications and new business development
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate by collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, and influence, rationale and diplomacy both internally and externally in a selling environment
- Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: working in an office or remote location, travel up to 50% of the time to meet customers and partners
