Düsseldorf- ab sofort- Vollzeit- Job-ID: CT23-1229**Our client **is one of the largest Japanese trading companies with over 40,000 employees worldwide. The company is currently looking for a REACH-Specialist (M/F/d) for their chemicals and plastics division located in Düsseldorf.

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Supporting the business departments on all REACH/CLP related issues
- Preparation, submission, and maintenance of registration dossiers via IUCLID
- Preparation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Supporting the business departments during audits by the REACH/CLP authorities
- Operation and maintenance of the REACH systems, ExESS and PubliChem
- Participate in inventory inspections of chemical storage sites with a focus on hazardous substances
- Conduct regular trainings and workshops on REACH/CLP issues
- Preparation of presentations and e-learning materials
- Liaising with business and corporate departments as well as subsidiaries in various areas of logistics management such as export or import procedures, risk management, etc.
- Communication with customs authorities and logistics service providers as well as with external consultants

**Ihre Qualifikationen**:

- Successfully completed training as a forwarding agent or a successfully completed degree in business studies
- Previous experience as a REACH specialist or manager in a multinational trade and logistics environment
- In-depth knowledge of the EU chemicals regulation REACH and the GHS/CLP regulations and other chemicals-related regulations such as BPR, RoHS, PIC
- User knowledge of REACH software (ExESS, PubliChem) is advantageous
- Knowledge of import and export customs procedures
- Business fluency in both written and spoken English
- Additional good knowledge of written and spoken German is very welcome
- Proficiency at MS Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
