Director Program Management

As a Director for Program Management of our embedded security portfolio, you will be a key member of the Edge Identity Group and be part of our revenue growth and success. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing the execution of multiple engineering programs (hardware and software) in parallel, managing customer relationships, and facilitating seamless communication between our customers and internal cross-functional teams.
In your new role you will:
- **Program Planning and Execution**: Collaborate with internal engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define program objectives, scope, schedules, and milestones; Own and guide the execution of engineering programs from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer expectations
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the primary point of contact for all technical and program-related matters. Understand customer needs, expectations, and long-term goals to align our engineering programs accordingly
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential program risks and develop mitigation strategies; Proactively communicate any challenges or potential roadblocks to both internal teams and customers, working collaboratively to find effective solutions
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Foster effective communication and collaboration between different departments including design, production, testing, and quality assurance; Coordinate efforts to provide timely and high-quality program delivery
- **Technical Know-How**: Develop a deeper understanding of your projects from a technical perspective to provide quick guidance and support to customers as well as to assess the technical and resource constraints that may arise during execution
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Regularly assess customer satisfaction and gather feedback to continually improve our products and services; Advocate for the customer's perspective within the company to take responsibility for improvements and innovations
- **Continuous Improvement**: Participate in post-program reviews to analyze the program's success, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices for future projects
You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
- A degree in **Electrical Engineering, Computer Science **, or a related field
- More than **8 years of relevant work experience **in engineering program management, especially with customer facing responsibilities
- Great understanding of **semiconductor design, development, and manufacturing processes**:
- Remarkable **verbal and written communication skills **, with the ability to articulate complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Established **ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects**:
- **Problem-solving mindset **with the ability to navigate and resolve challenges in a dynamic environment while being **highly sensitive to soft aspects**:
- Great structured and **organizational skills **and attention to detail
- Proficiency in **project management tools and software**:
- **Willingness to travel **as needed to meet with customers
- Fluency in **English skills in verbal and written communication; German **is a plus
