FPGA Engineer (f/m/d)Ref. 10178029 your responsibilities: The jobholder works as a FPGA Engineer (f/md) and will support the design center Telecom & Navigation Processing Germany which specializes in high performance processing solutions for satellites. 5G/6G payloads. Digitalisation of satellites is key to provide more services and more flexibility for telecommunication and navigation space industry. The digital processing products of the design center in Ottobrunn can be reprogrammed for a new mission within minutes from control centres on the ground. Emergency services will then be able to exchange information, coordinate their activities and rescue roadmap for future 5G/6G infrastructures where satellites are seen as possible “datacenters in space” where processing can be provided on-board. The current position will support the on-going development on the new generation of telecommunication Participation in the specification of 5G system demonstrators with our partners from FPGA implementation perspective. Analysis of requirement specification and generation of architectural concept of processor and FPGA Software development for the on-chip CPU cores or and VHDL development for the FPGA logic fabric End-to-end simulations using Matlab tool environment Generation of the technical documentation Support of hardware commissioning tests of the FPGA personal requirements: Excellent communication and teamwork skills professional training/studies: Electrical engineering at least master's / diploma course or Informatics at least a master's/diploma degree or Engineering at least Masters / Diplom degree or Industrial engineer at least master's / diploma course work experience: Strong technical breadth of 3GPP systems and mobile networks is mandatory An understanding of the whole 5G architecture is requreid IT: Experience with VHDL Design and Verification for FPGAs is mandatory Proven experience with algorithm developments using Matlab is necessary Good experience in partitioning of HW/SW functions into FPGA or MPSoC Architecture is required Good knowledge of Software Programming of Embedded Systems is mandatory languages:Business fluent EnglishGerman at least business fluent our offer:Conditions according to Equal Pay (IG-Metall Tariff) Flexible working hours through a personal flextime account Continuous personal support from your contact person employer-funded pension Bonus payments by employees recruit employees Are you interested in our company and the benefits we offer?
