Senior UX/UI Designer

Your Mission
- Work as part of our UX/UI team to drive the future of mobility and find new innovative ways to take the in-car user experience to a new level.
- Use the power of data to create excellent solutions for our users that are equally successful from a business perspective.
- Help us to continuously optimise the UX processes in the company through DesignOps and ResearchOps activities.
- Bring static screen designs to life using rapid prototyping to support our product teams throughout the whole development process.
- Together with the team, build and maintain the UI prototyping component libraries for the future Mercedes-Benz infotainment systems.
- Improve and maintain the design system for the Mercedes-Benz mobile apps.
- Take complete ownership of the design process within a project.

Your Profile

**Education**:

- Degree and professional experience in human interaction, interaction design, visual design, UX design, Media Informatics or equivalent with a technical focus on the UX design process and rapid prototyping.

**Experience**:

- 3+ years experience as a UX/UI designer or creative/design producer, either in an agency or in-house creative team is a must.

**Personal skills**:

- You have a strong portfolio of diverse UX work that demonstrates your structured design process, design skills, prototyping skills and understanding of technical feasibility.
- You have a good understanding how to work through complex tasks.
- You know the needs of UX experts and know which things are necessary to optimise UX processes.
- You are well versed in common design and prototyping tools like Sketch, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Suite to turn your ideas into screens, flows and prototypes.
- You are able to create complex high fidelity prototypes.
- You have built complex design systems in the past and have taken care of their component libraries.
- You are excellent at presenting your work and can communicate your design decisions in an understandable way.
- You are a positive thinker who is proactive and enjoys delivering great results as part of an international team in a highly collaborative environment.
- Good technical understanding, web programming and/or 3D skills would be a plus.

- Awareness of trends and new technologies and the opportunities they present for the mobility of the future
- High level of motivation and ability to adapt to change
- Proactive mindset and take ownership of the end-to-end design process through implementation to testing and iteration

**Language skills**:

- Proficient in English
- German is a plus
