Company Description

The Market Operation and Risk unit is the hub of all operations supporting our Trading and Origination activities, and Asset Management for Europe & US. The department is responsible for all processes and operations in the Back Office Europe & US, Risk Management, New Products & Investment Support, and the Digitalisation Office. The responsibility of the department is to ensure accurate and high-quality results in all operational activities to support Statkraft growth ambitions.

**Your department**:
The new Continental Metering Business Operations department is the process engine for all metered business activities in Germany, Iberia, France, Italy and Poland, and possibly more continental markets to come.

Your team is an important contributor of the deal entry to payment value chain of a contract, ensuring accurate validation of all contract parameters, master data and contract configurations, balance and contract settlement, invoicing & accrual processes, payment preparation & P&L calculation. This department has important interfaces and deliveries to our New Products and Investment Support unit, EU Regulatory Reporting, Revenue Operations, Certificate Management and many other different departments in the Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal areas.

Your operations are supporting very strong and ambitious Front Office units going through a big and fast growth, requiring fast and efficient implementations. The growth has been significant over recent years, and the department needs to scale and lift systems, processes and capacity to match new business requirements.

**Job Description**:
As Vice President Continental Metering Business Operations, you are expected to:

- Ensure stable, reliable and accurate operations of the Continental metered business along the deal entry to payment lifecycle.
- Lead and develop the new Continental Metering Business Operations department. Your direct reports will be managers leading teams.
- Be a proactive and valuable member of the Market Operations & Risk management team.
- Ensure close collaborations and smooth interfaces with all units which are part of the value chain.
- Lead and manage timely and effective implementation of new activities and business lines through good process management and ensuring best system utilisation.
- Ensure best in class customer relations outside - inside Statkraft.
- Define appropriate KPIs and quantitative drivers to the department.

This position reports to SVP Operations & Risk and is a member of the Operations & Risk management team. Mandates and decision authorities are defined in the BA M Authority Matrix and the BA M Operating Model.

**Qualifications**:
The Vice President Continental Metering Business Operations shall manage and develop the unit to ensure delivery of targets, including:

- Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of employees.
- Develop the organisation to deliver on business priorities and ensure collaboration with other units.
- Ensure awareness of and adherence with Code of Conduct and The Statkraft Way.
- Oversee the overall planning, budgeting, and performance management process within the unit.

**Your profile**:

- Several years of leadership experience, including leading leaders and managing successful projects and implementations.
- Good understanding of complex contracts, complex implementation, but at the same time understanding the complete end2end impact in the value chain.
- Deep understanding of processes and systems for the support of the metered business in Germany, France, Iberia, Italy, and Poland.
- Relevant university degree, preferable a master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
- Proven track record of continuous improvements, building strong teams and being a bridge builder, who can help their staff to work effectively across teams and departmental lines.
- Experienced and proven track of successful stakeholder management with high communication skills.
- Flexible and highly service oriented.
- Business fluent in English & German, an additional European language would be an advantage.
- Availability and willingness to travel frequently within Europe. Your team members or leaders as well as your key stakeholders are based in different European countries.
