**PhD Student Research & Development (f/m/x)**

**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic PhD student in the In Vivo Pharmacology (IVP) unit, a member of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department, Research Marburg. The position is for a duration of 3 years and in collaboration with Justus Liebig University Gießen. We offer an extensive range of advanced training in an international environment (laboratory language English) with top-level research

**Your Role / The Responsibilities**:

- Support _in vivo_ measurements focused on lung diseases
- Support general lab activities and maintenance
- Work in cross-functional international teams
- Prepare and analyze biological samples using state-of-the art technologies and methodologies
- Perform immune-histological investigations on tissue specimen
- Generate data analysis workstreams
- Prepare draft reports
- Present data in internal and external meetings

**Qualifications**:

- Master degree (or equivalent) in life sciences or a degree in human or veterinary medicine
- Experience related to the above mentioned activities is preferred
- A high degree of responsibility, motivation, communication, flexibility and commitment is required
- interest to work in a scientific biotechnological environment and laboratory activities
- fluent English language skills
