Export Control Coordinator

Job ID: 36463- Location: Nürnberg, DE, 90411In an international environment, and as part of the international Export Control team, the Export Control Specialist / Operations works as the interface between the business and the Export Control function.

The Export Control Specialist / Operations reports directly to the Head of Export Control and supports them in the constant enhancement of the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) of the Vitesco Technologies group.
- Act as the interface within the scope of responsibility between the Business Units, the plants and the Export Control Specialists.
- Contribute from regional perspective to the global Export Control Strategy and ensure proper communication of it within the plants and legal entities in your region.
- Provide frequent spot checks on the Export Control Status.
- Ensure that all employees involved in Export Control processes within their scope of responsibility are enabled to handle Export Control related topics and risk adequately (e.g. all employees in scope have completed the Export Control e-learning and have obtained the Export Control training certificate.)
- Involvement of the central Export Control team for related staffing, training and development measures.
- Optimize the local processes to ensure that the data contained within the ERP system is in line with supplier declarations and internal items classifications within the scope of responsibility.
- Maintain the Export Control data within the ERP system.
- Provide results for business partners screening via the export control screening tool and internet research for business partners who are not registered in SAP.
- Process business partner master data vs. SPL; align with respective Regional Export Control Manager in case of “real hits”.
- Supporting approval processes in accordance with internal rules and guidelines.
- Support the classification of new and existing products with support of Export Control Specialists and Engineering Team if needed.
- Ensure that delivery is stopped if the plant or entity is potentially violating any export control regulation.
- Support export compliance investigations and implementation of any required remedial action
- Support compliance assessment and audits; assist in investigations and support the implementation corrective actions

**Job Requirements**:

- Academic Degree in Business Administration, Economics or compareable qualification
- First professional experience in Logistic, Purchasing, Sales or similar area.
- First experience in customs and/or export control activities is an advantage.
- Knowledge in customs, export control regulations and requirements desirable.
- Fluent German and English language skills spoken and written.
- Very good MS office 365 skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability dealing with complex and conflicting situations
