As an Senior Accountant (M/F/d) in our EMEA Finance department, you will be responsible for all relevant accounting activities (Taxes, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables & Payables). You will report directly to the Financial Manager. You will be located in Limburg. Hybrid work is possible as well.

**In this role, you will**:

- Lead a timely and accurate financial close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, commitments, and disclosures, and ensure integrity and timeliness of accounting information by verifying GAAP compliance and reconciling transactions with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Assist with evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable laws and regulations.
- Create and maintain a documented system of accounting processes and policies.
- Assist/Lead efforts with internal and external auditors during financial, tax, and operational audits.
- Prepare and/or assist the filing of tax returns and other required reports.
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- 5+ years relevant experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive outcomes
- Accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting multiple tight deadlines
- Excellent communicator who can build cross-functional relationships and is comfortable providing direct feedback
- Proven experience building processes and scaling workflows
- Very g_ood MS Office skills, especially Excel_
- **_ Fluent communication skills in both German and English, French is a plus._**
