**Intern in Oncology Statistics and Data Management (f/m/d)**

The Oncology Statistics and Data Management Department is globally responsible for the statistical evaluation of clinical trial data. This means we provide high quality analytical solutions through data enrichment and reporting, compiling information and results across the entire life cycle of oncology compounds. We do this through the development of new methodology, tools and processes - often in close collaborations with other functions.

Your Internship at Bayer is served to gain experience and knowledge and is for the benefit of your professional orientation. In practice-oriented work, you are extensively supported by experienced employees and can thus deepen your theoretical knowledge.

**YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES**
- Learn about clinical oncology trials and the clinical research environment
- Work on concepts and support the implementation of statistical methods and their reporting in R/Shiny
- Be part of an international open-source collaboration project
- Support the preparation of training material and workshops
- Discuss your ideas with relevant stakeholders

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Enrolled Master student (M/F/d) in natural sciences, statistics, (computational) engineering or any related field
- Interested in working in an international environment
- R package development expertise would be preferable
- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods, e.g. Bayesian methods
- Thrive in a busy environment and bring a “can do” attitude with sound personal judgment and strong interpersonal and coordination skills
- Fluent in Business English, both written and spoken
