**Your future plans**
Accounting at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) deals with the accounting of commodity issues within the scope of the global RWE trading business, as well as the segment statements of RWEST.

Within the Commodity Accounting function, Trading, Gas and LNG are responsible for the closing of the trading desks, while Exchanges serves as central accounting hub for all exchanges related topics.
- Participation in the monthly, quarterly and initial closing processes for the global stock exchange accounting as well as transactions between trading desks (interdesk) within the RWEST organisation, especially in the areas of electricity, gas and CO2
- Creation of reports for the foreign trade regulation notification and further development of internal processes (Z10, support Z4)
- Taking part in Projects for the continuous development of the E2E exchange process together with back office clearing
- Projects in cooperation with other RWEST accounting teams
- Support of new product processes and external projects (e.g. liquidity measures, new stock exchanges, clearing bank changes)
- Analysis and internal reporting of margin and cash balances
- Incoming invoice process and self-billing documents with subsequent account balancing and further development of the processes
- Close collaboration with auditors

**Your powerful skills**
- Economics degree (e.g. business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, etc.) or similar qualification (e.g. Bilanzbuchhalter, ACCA)
- Several years of experience in accounting in the energy sector and in the commodity trading business, ideally on stock exchanges
- Very good understanding of how exchanges, derivatives and margining work
- Very good user knowledge in MS Excel and SAP FI
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented and analytical way of working
- Good language skills in German and English

**Advantageous, but not a must**
- Good user knowledge of MS Access, MS Power Query or PL/SQL
- Further skills in the field of data analysis
- Experience with internal projects to improve processes and data quality
