What You Will Do:

- Perform HW modifications to automotive audio amplifiers and auxiliary equipment
- Do first failure analysis and repair of defect modules
- Conduct verification tests with supervision of engineering team
- Create draft test reports and documentation based on existing checklists and templates
- Design, manufacture and maintain test setups for automotive audio amplifiers
- Cooperation with quality, production, mechanics & software development
- Support maintenance of existing products
- Prepare and organize shipping of samples
- Maintain two laboratories in Garching
- Order laboratory equipment and material
- Host small projects like demo boards and programming adaptors

What You Need:

- Certified electrical technician, education as HW technician or equivalent training in automotive context
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience
- Basic knowledge in thermal testing
- Basic knowledge of automotive interfaces like Ethernet, A2B, CAN and MOST bus systems Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and preferably German
- Excellent craftsmanship skills
- Ability to build relations and work independently and self-organized
- Self-motivated, passionate about audio and high sense of responsibility
