Our client is a world-class provider of high-tech products and services to the world's major industrial firms and scientific research institutions. In order to support their growth, they are looking for a motivated Financial controller (M/F/d) to join their Finance department in Ulm.
Tasks
\- Reporting, preparing commentary and analyzing monthly financial statements
\- Executing the consolidation
\- Preparing weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and analysis for the UK head office
\- Supporting and integrating new finance functions after the acquisition e.g. set-up of reporting based on the specifications of the parent company including the introduction of weekly/monthly reporting
\- Contributing to the review of consolidated data, forecast analysis, and budget forecasts with a focus on Oxford Instruments UK margin and overhead
\- Proactive preparation, analysis of financial data and resulting advice to decision makers (e.g. Manager R&D, Operations)
\- Regularly reviewing reports on KPI (revenues, margins, orders and sales analysis) for companies in Germany and abroad
\- Intra-company allocations for personnel, materials and expenses
\- Assisting in liaison with auditors and preparation of financial statements
**Requirements**:
\- Degree in Finance or Accounting & Controlling
\- Fluent German (C2) and English (C1)
\- Proven experience in consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting within a complex, international company
\- Good knowledge of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow accounting, planning and reporting (IFRS/HGB)
\- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with various collaborators
\- Team player
\- Strong numerical and analytical skills
