**Responsibilities**:
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
- develop new scanning X-ray microscopy modalities
- optimise analysis methods for 3D X-ray microscopy of crystalline samples
- investigate coherent diffraction on nanocrystals using highly convergent X-ray beams

**Profile**:
A university degree in a relevant field. Physics or applied Physics.

Good knowledge of optics, metrology, X-ray physics, Fourier optics. Good programming skills in Python. Experience working with synchrotron or x-ray sources is desirable. Any experience with ptychography is advantageous.
