Legal Director Germany

As a Legal Director on a 15-month contract, you will have a significant impact on the business, ensuring legal compliance and actively participating in key business decisions. You will lead the DACH legal team, managing day-to-day business affairs, and proactively engaging in areas such as commercial contracts, corporate matters, advertising, IP, food, and media law. Based in our Hamburg office, with flexibility for three in-office days weekly, you'll lead a team of 2, reporting directly to our Legal Director - France and Continental Europe.

You will navigate complex legal landscapes while driving business growth and ensuring regulatory compliance. As a collaborative partner, dedicated to safeguarding brand integrity and fostering innovation within a competitive market environment. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

Facilitate Legal Services Delivery
- Lead and manage legal personnel to ensure quality delivery of legal services, including client representation and major litigation.
Strategic Participation
- Contribute to the development of Kellanova DACH business strategy as a member of the DACH Leadership Team.
Legal Advisory Role - Advise Kellanova DACH Division markets on legal matters, including decision-making, drafting, and mediation.
Legal Advice - Provide independent legal advice internally and externally, with defined decision-making authority.
Compliance and Contract Management - Review and approve DACH media activity, draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, and provide legal support for plant operations.
We’re Looking for Someone With

A qualified business and contract lawyer with extensive experience in a reputable law firm or within the industry.
Technical excellence in your understanding and communication of the law.
Experience in commercial contract negotiation and drafting.
Experience in commercial law, corporate law, competition law, consumer law and food law.
Commercial acumen and strong relationship development skills.
