**Working Student (M/F/x)**Data Analytics - fixed-term, 20h/week**:
**The position**:
A working student Commercial Business Intelligence holds both business and technical knowledge. The role supports the business by providing high quality data intelligence solutions driving better customer understanding and insights through analytics. These solutions will generate insights from our connected data, enabling Daiichi Sankyo to advance the data driven decision making capabilities.
**Roles and responsibilities**:
- Assist in the development and enhancement of our reporting & data landscape, focusing on our cloud data warehouse and Power BI cloud-based solution.
- Help translate business customers' requirements into business intelligence solutions under the guidance of experienced developers.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of business intelligence reports and datasets in Power BI, focusing on functionality and user experience.
- Aid in the maintenance, adjustments, and optimization of existing report and data products.
- Support in coordinating, implementing, and testing new business requirements and specific functionalities, and assist in managing user acceptance tests.
- Provide support in conducting ad-hoc analyses for our commercial customers as needed.
**Personal skills and professional experience**:
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of databases and data warehouses (familiarity with SQL is a plus).
- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools through coursework or projects.
- A keen interest in data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, data governance, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with one programming language such as R, Python, or C++ is advantageous.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills in a business intelligence environment.
- Interest in agile methodologies and data-driven development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
- Proficiency in English (at least B2 level) and a willingness to enhance intercultural competence.
