Cloud Solution Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Quantum Cloud. You will be responsible for building scalable, reliable, and secure backend services that support Quantum-Systems in its mission to become the leader for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

**What is your Day to Day Mission**:

- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and performant backend systems using cutting-edge technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement product requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues to ensure system uptime and stability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and cloud trends
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our backend systems
- Mentor and guide junior developers to help them grow and develop their skills

**What you bring to the team**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong experience with designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based backend systems
- Proven expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Cosmos DB
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with data processing pipelines in a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
