**Are you ready to shape the future of energy management?**

We are seeking a (Senior) Product Designer App (M/F/d) to join our dynamic team. You will play a **key role in shaping the future of our app experience and interface by creating intuitive UI / UX design that will redefine the way our users track and consume their energy.** You will collaborate closely with the Home Energy Management leadership and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design and iterate on the overarching app experience to make a step change towards delighting our future customers.

**Your tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Running **UI / UX discovery** to cultivate a comprehensive/premium experience centered **around Home Energy Management **to transition our app to a new era.
- **Validating underlying assumptions** with prototypes and **continuously gaining insights into customer desires** through regular engagement in qualitative and quantitative user research.
- Building and maintaining a **globally consistent system** of visual appearance
- **Defining implementation-ready concepts** for a seamless app experience across all value streams and bringing learnings from releases into future iterations.
- Collaborating in a **cross-functional setup** by aligning with different stakeholders.
- **Structuring user and market insights into opportunities** and prioritizing them together with the Value Stream Leadership.
- Aligning with and advancing our community of product designers at tado°.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of UI / UX experience, with a **jaw-dropping portfolio** that showcases your **mastery of user-centric app design.**:

- Passion for **turning complex problems into elegant UI / UX to increase customer happiness** with a focus on usability, aesthetics and value.
- Experience in **gathering user insights** by combining the art of **qualitative interviews** with the precision of **quantitative analysis.**:

- Excellent **English communication skills** and the ability to rally the troops behind your design solutions.
- You are not a perfectionist but rather evangelize a **lean way of working and value frequent releases** and fast iterations over creating extensive concepts.
- You shine in **cross-functional environments**, effortlessly collaborating across Product Management, Product Design, and Engineering, leveraging proficiency in **design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Miro** to make magic happen.
- With a proactive mindset, you're no stranger to driving a project and managing your time and priorities with precision.
- **Big Plus**: background in one / some of the following spaces**:Energy, Electric Mobility, Photovoltaic, Smart Heating, Energy Management**
