About this role

As working student, you will support the SiC development team. You will get in touch with Nexperia’s SiC product portfolio and R&D organization.

What you will do
- Electrical characterization of semiconductor wafers and final products
- Measurements of Surge-, ESD- and switching times in our laboratory including setup of automatic test sequences
- Evaluation of trials, data analysis and representation of results
- Investigations of competitor products

What you will need
- Enrolled Student in Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Preferred skills: Semiconductor technology, electrical measurement techniques, data analysis, MS Office, SPICE
- Personal requirements: analytical thinking, team ability, working with colleagues, resilience
- Fluent in English, verbal and written, knowledge of German is beneficial

Conditions
- Temporary contract with extension option
- Weekly working hours: max. 18 hours / week
- 18,40€ per hour

Als Werkstudent (m/w/d) werden Sie Teil unseres SiC-Entwicklungsteams. Sie lernen dabei unser SiC-Produktportfolio und die Forschungs
- und Entwicklungsorganisation von Nexperia kennen.

Ihre Hauptaufgaben
- Elektrische Charakterisierung von Halbleiter-Wafern und Endprodukten
- Messungen des Verhaltens unter Stoßstrombedingungen, der ESD-Fähigkeit und des Schaltverhaltens von Leistungshalbleitern unter Laborbedingungen
- Auswertung von Versuchen, Datenanalyse und Präsentation der Ergebnisse
- Wettbewerbsanalyse

Ihr Profil
- Eingeschriebene/r Student/in im Bereich Physik, Elektrotechnik oder ähnliches
- Bevorzugte Kenntnisse: Halbleitertechnologie, elektrische Messtechnik, Datenanalyse, MS Office, SPICE
- Persönliche Anforderungen: Analytisches Denken, Teamfähigkeit, Zusammenarbeit mit Kollegen, Flexibilität
- Fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

- Befristeter Vertrag mit der Option einer Verlängerung
- Wöchentliche Arbeitszeit: max. 18 Stunden
- 18,40€ pro Stunde
