**Your Tasks**: - Development and implementation of sourcing strategies - Market price observation/procurement market research - Evaluation and optimisation of the supplier portfolio - Responsibility for the purchasing of firmly assigned product groups in the AM Trading Goods division - Technical support and guidance of junior buyers in the area of direct purchasing - Independent product group analyses and derivation of corresponding product group strategies Focus on sustainable improvement of results - Independent procurement projects (NPL) - Independent preparation, implementation and follow-up of commercial purchasing negotiations - KPI reporting **Your Profile**: - University degree in business or technical studies, alternatively commercial training with comparable additional qualification - At least 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience as a buyer or category buyer - Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as knowledge of SAP - Expertise in the S2C process - Business fluent English, further foreign language skills (Chinese) desirable - Strong negotiation skills with strong interpersonal skills - Intercultural understanding **#WeWorkFlex **30 days' holiday plus Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve off, flexible working hours, home office in Germany and more - we place value on a good work-life balance You should count on coming in for a minimum of 6 office days per month; beyond that, in consultation with your team, you can be flexible about your working hours and location. **#WeConnect** As a global company, we place particular emphasis on cross-team and cross-location communications with things such as virtual town hall & fishbowl meetings and our WeConnect platform.
