Human Resources Department employees are builders of capability within the Lord's talent storehouse who hasten the cause of the Master by drawing, enabling, and improving talent and by shaping the Church's work environment, which allows employees to give their best to the Lord. Serves priesthood leaders by providing temples, headquarters, and other facilities for their use to help bring souls unto CHRIST.
- Responsible for liaising with 4 or more departments on all Human Resources related matter
- Participates in strategic planning and implementation of business needs. Close collaboration with line management to improve leadership capabilities, workforce performance, recognition, and overall engagement
- Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in Talent Acquisition & Development, Compensation, Legal, and HR policies and procedures
- Translate external business trends (social, technological, economic, political, environmental and demographic) into internal organizational actions. Initiates exploration of alternative approaches and recommends solutions
- Helps foster a customer-oriented Christlike service culture
- Strong commitment to the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints (applicant must be a member with a valid Temple recommend)
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is preferred) and extensive related or equivalent experience;
- Successful experience partnering with management to deliver key results
- Effective skills in counseling together with peers and leaders
- CIPD level 5, SHRM or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Excellent communication skills, English proficiency both written and verbal is required
