To reinforce our area Sales team in Germany, we are looking for an:
Area Sales Manager (100%)

JOB PURPOSE

In this function, you will be in charge of the sales development within the assigned territory, with the objective of reaching the allocated sales and profitability targets for all our brands and products. You will have an in-depth relationship with our customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Develop and drive sales in the region with defined sales targets including the development of future strategies.
- Ensure ongoing reporting, analysis of sales & distribution and gather market intelligence.
- Develop, adapt and implement the overall brand strategies with local customers in collaboration with the Sales Director.
- Identify and appoint new independent retailers and develop a strong relationship with them.
- Visit independent retailer POS in the region and drive business jointly with our customers and conduct staff trainings.
- Active monitoring of operational marketing activities at the POS in close coordination with the marketing department.
- Planning and execution of seasonal sales appointments with independent retailers to introduce and sell new collections.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a results-oriented salesperson with a commercial background and ideally 3-4 years’ experience in a similar position in the watch industry or closely related industries and within a customer environment. To be successful in this position, you need strong analytical and interpersonal skills and a good level of English. Your place of residence is an important criterion for this role; you should be located in the postal code areas 1-4, 6-9, 10, 12-18, 39 (ideally Berlin area) for this position.

Autonomous and proactive, you possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and are able to interact with various levels of management.
