Representative Material Distribution/handling

Order, receive, store and issue repair parts in support of maintenance operations.
- Update DMIS warehouse database as parts are received and issued.
- Maintain accurate parts and material inventory in the Vilseck warehouse and other field sites during GFS projects in accordance with GDLS ISO practices.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and perform certain aspects of technical supply management work utilizing inventory and storage management, that are related to depot, local and other supply activities.
- Ability to maintain and manage sensitive items and have a good understanding of communications equipment and issue as outlined by government schematics, FAR, and other pertinent Army regulations.
- Complete maintenance, supply and administrative forms.
- Identify serviceability of equipment and properly dispose of US government property utilizing DLA, DRMO and PCARSS.
- Assist in training/mentoring of new supply warehouse personnel using section work processes and GDLS Quality Policy as a tool/guide.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, work methods, in accordance with other supply activities, i.e. GCSS-Army, DLA, CRP’s, USG.
- Provide guidance to small group of Material Handlers in accomplishing daily tasks.
- Ability to read and understand Technical Manuals, (TM’s) and Technical Bulletins, (TB’s) for research of Class IX parts, Basic Issue Items, (BII), and Special Tools and Test Equipment, (STTE).
- Verification of proper packaging of material to military specifications or best commercial standards.
- Operate forklift inside and around the warehouse and parking lots.
Prepare parts for shipping.
Conduct monthly inventory accuracy self-checks. Record results in the appropriate warehouse database and maintain hard copies for company and DCMA audits.
- Maintain assigned equipment and tools.

**Position Requirements**:

- Must be GCSS-ARMY certified or able to attend course and achieve certification.
- 6 to 9 years related inventory control/warehouse experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to obtain license to operate a forklift.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to make supply decisions without direct supervision.
- Experience updating transactions in the GCSS-ARMY/DMIS warehouse management database.
- Demonstrated experience or understanding of the process to properly dispose of US government property - DRMO and PCARSS.
- Understanding of the process for identifying, trouble shooting, and resolving discrepant material.
- Ability to provide training and guidance to small groups. Up to 4.
- Must be willing and able to travel to off-site locations for business needs.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must be able to meet and maintain military base access.
- OCONUS work experience.
- Demonstrated professional maturity and dependability.
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate cultural norms (societal constructs/hierarchies, traditions, religions) to facilitate relationship-building with the customer.
- Willingness to commit to extended deployment (1 year).

Position Hourly Rate: $25.78

Position Incentive: Hired applicant may be eligible to receive an annual bonus.

The SCA Health & Welfare Benefit hourly rate ranges from $0.00 to $4.41.

Employees are also eligible to receive 6.66 hours of vacation per month, 56 hours of sick time per year and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
