**Your role**
- Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you have know-how and experience in financial accounting? Do you want to work in Finance within Banking? We are looking for someone like that to help us:
- support daily run the bank activities while at the same time participate in internal projects
- ensure a complete, accurate and auditable accounting and month-end-closing (HGB and IFRS)
- independently run deep-dive analyses in systems across several ledgers
- perform systematical analysis of products to ensure that they are recorded correctly in the bank's accounts and reported accurately (HGB and IFRS)
- support on ad-hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders
- responsible for daily and monthly plausibility checks, reconciliations and analysis on the profit and loss and the balance sheet as well as checks on static data deliveries
- investigate, analyze and improve process set-ups
- implement and manage offshore activities and controls
- be engaged to develop and review policies, guidelines, controls and reporting frameworks as well as standard operating procedures
- keep up to date with legal, regulatory and procedural changes

- You'll be working in the Financial Reporting team in Frankfurt. We are a Finance function covering Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Treasury and Asset Management business for UBS Europe SE.

**Your expertise**
- You have:
- practical knowledge in the area of finance as a financial accountant/analyst and/or an apprenticeship in banking
- several years of work experience as an Accountant with a good knowledge of HGB and IFRS
- a good understanding of the product range of a major internationally operating bank (incl. trading products)
- an awareness of regulatory and accounting requirements
- skills in business intelligence tools, preferably Business Objects

You are:
- methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
- self-motivated and have the ability to work independently in a challenging environment
- eager to proactively challenge and improve processes
- fluent in English and German
