HV Capital has invested in around 225 internet and technology companies, supporting startups with ticket sizes ranging from €0.5 to €60m. It is one of Europe's few venture capital firms that can finance startups through all growth phases. HV Capital has a team of more than 40 investment and operations professionals who provide a variety of perspectives and expertise across the venture capital landscape. **We are hiring one Early Investment intern in Munich: the position will start in Fall 2025.**_(Applications for the Spring cohort will open end of year.)_ What Will You Work On? - Uncovering and Researching Potential Investments: You will investigate industry trends, gather relevant company data from media sources, and conduct thorough market research. - Analysis and Hypothesis Development: You will demonstrate your financial acumen by developing financial models, analysing business plans, and creating investment hypotheses. - Collaboration with Investment Managers: You will be involved in our deal flow, preparing for and attending meetings with potential portfolio companies, and assisting with portfolio management. - Crafting Reports and Presentations: You will simplify complex data into clear presentations and reports for our investment team and management. - Contributing to Our Knowledge Base: You will research specific topics to enhance our internal knowledge database and your learning. - ** Relevant Experience**: While we welcome previous internships or work experience, especially in top-tier consulting and startups, this is not a strict requirement. Your analytical skills, ambition, and inquisitiveness may give you an advantage. - ** An Enthusiastic Learner**: We value intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn, regardless of your academic background. - ** Analytical Savvy**: Demonstrate your ability to analyse complex information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations. - ** Communication and Synthesis Skills**: Can you simplify complex data into clear insights? Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. - ** Independent and Driven**:We support an autonomous work environment where quick productivity and independence are critical. - ** Language and Skills Proficiency**: Proficiency in English is essential, while a working knowledge of German is beneficial. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are necessary.
