Cys Program Associate Technology Lab Nf-03

**Duties**:

- Responsible for the operation of the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Technology Lab in accordance with applicable regulations. Assist in designing and responsible for implementing an Educational Technology Program for youth 6-18 years of age.
- Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities for program participants based on observed needs of individual children/youth and in cooperation with CYS staff. Prepares and implements program options for children and youth with special requirements.
- Creates a positive environment in CYS Technology Lab that includes appropriate physical space, furnishings, wall displays, and resource materials and supplies to supplement computer software programs and Internet access.
- Demonstrates proper work methods and provides work-related guidance when required. Ensures computer, peripherals, and software are maintained in good condition and working order. Troubleshoots hardware, printers, scanners, servers and software.
- Interacts with children and youth using approved child guidance and youth development techniques. Promotes and role models safety, fitness, health and nutrition practices.

- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-All required background checks of AR 215-3, 2-15.m. and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.
- Must have current health assessment which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations IAW current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
- Satisfactory performance, successful completion of training requirements (transition and/or annual) and demonstrated on the job competency is required. Failure to achieve desired training with demonstrated competence may result in separation.
- Possess and maintain ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, stoop, and stand on a routine basis.
