**This position is located in Crolles, France.**

**Introduction**

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Director to lead the Manufacturing Quality Team in Crolles, France. The individual selected for this position will be a key member of the Manufacturing Management Team and will work together with the Crolles Engineering and Management team to assure and further enhance manufacturing quality. This includes for example the continuous development and execution of the Line Quality roadmap, governance of adherence of the manufacturing modules to the quality guidelines for FDC and SPC control as well as exploration and implementation of new developments in advanced equipment, facilities and process control methods and Big Data Engineering.
The Employee will report directly to the Deputy General Manager.

**Your Tasks**
- disciplinary leadership on the program manager and engineers in the manufacturing quality team
- technical leadership of the module engineers and management within the scope of the assigned projects and domains
- development, alignment and execution of relevant line quality programs within Manufacturing and other departments
- Program management of a selected programs / projects
- Accountable for the Manufacturing Quality BBSC KPI
- Knowledge sharing between different GlobalFoundries sites
- Representation of Crolles, Manufacturing within Customer Audits as well as related E uropean semiconductor forums and selected conferences

**Required Qualifications**:

- Technical degree BA/MBA or equivalent experience within high volume semiconductor manufacturing
- Long lasting experience in semiconductor industry within manufacturing, manufacturing control and manufacturing quality
- Lean 6 sigma knowledge, preferred black or green belt certificate
- Fluent in English Language - written & verbal
- Excellent people & project management skills
- Excellent team player
- High Integrity

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- PhD in Engineering or Science ( e.g. Physics, Chemistry, Materials)
- Exposure to semiconductor volume manufacturing methods, statistical methods, FMEA/8D Methodology, external customer & multicultural working environment is beneficial.
- Project Management Certification (e.g. IPMA, PMP ).
- Fluent in French Language - written & verbal
- Proficiency in German language
