HR Specialist

**Your mission**:
We are a dynamic deep tech startup with a dedicated team of about 50 employees, committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation. Our fast-growing company is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our Finance Department. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
- Administer employee benefits programs and address employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and compensation.
- Support in regular performance reviews and provide guidance
- Support Operations Department with career development plans and training opportunities.
- Handle employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and facilitate effective communication across departments.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly pay slips and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Support with time reporting and controlling, ensuring accurate tracking of work hours and compliance with labor regulations.
- Support the Operations Department in strategic planning and organizational development initiatives.
- Support the organization employee engagement activities and team-building events.

**Your profile**:
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in German and English

**Desired Additional Skills**:

- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience with HR analytics and metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
- Knowledge of deep tech industry trends and challenges.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing HR issues.
